| Cinderella Auditions |
|
It's that time again folks, or rather, it's panto time again. This year. TADS will be performing Cinderella, written by our very own Sue Sachon. Auditions for Cinderella will take place at the theatre on Monday 26 September and Wednesday 28 September, starting at 7.30. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to audition.
Synopsis There’s trouble at Brassic Mansion again. Baron Brassic is, well . . . just plain brassic, pinning all his hopes on a lottery win to save him and his daughter Cinderella from a life of misery. The Baron’s second marriage to the repulsive Baroness Cleptomania has brought with it more than he can handle. Cleptomania’s three ugly daughters: Bubonia, Pustilina and Nymphomania, are determined to spend every last penny their stepfather doesn’t possess . . . and to turn his lovely daughter, Cinderella, into an unpaid drudge. But – help is on the way, in the shapes of the devoted Buttons and his clapped-out horse, Clopper. With the appearance on the scene of three newly-qualified fairy godmothers: Fairy Foghorn, Fairy Frightful and Fairy Forgetful, things begin to change – but not always for the better! A traditional Pantomime, with lots of humour, slapstick, fun, song and dance. But book early – TADS Pantomimes are always popular!
