 Tads Theatre Group is very proud to be affiliated with NODA
This brings many benefits to us for not only do we receive preferential rates for many Theatre visits and insurance, but NODA is a hugely valuable resource in many other ways.
We are very lucky to have the highly regarded Nova Horley come to visit us and critique our shows and this helps us to continue to find higher standards with every production that we do.
This is our area for all things relating to NODA, the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.

Our Chairman went to the NODA Regional Meeting today, and met Nova Horley for the first time.
Nova does an excellent job of looking after our interests on a regional level and today was no exception.
Nova had organised Eric Smart as a key speaker and it was very interesting hearing what he had to say about NODA's position and where NODA sees itself over the next 5 years. In particular there was much discussion about the use of children in productions and it is hoped that this dialogue will continue at the next Regional Meeting in the Spring.
The meeting was hosted by Hemel Hempstead Theatre Company in the Boxmoor Playhouse and they put on Tea/Coffee and cakes. This is an impressive venue that seats approx 225 visitors, and has excellent facilities for putting on the highly regarded productions that they do.
Thanks to Nova for organising the afternoon, and well done to those theatre groups that won the many different awards (let's hope that we earn a new award for next year!)
All in all an enjoyable afternoon!! |
