Inspector Drake's Last Case
If you enjoy a good laugh, then don’t miss the return of that master of idiotic incompetence, the hapless INSPECTOR DRAKE, and his hopeless sidekick, Sergeant Plod, in the forthcoming INSPECTOR’S DRAKE’S LAST CASE.
Once more, Drake and Plod pit their wits (or in Plod’s case, witlessness) against a cunning villain . . . Once more, Drake plunges his audience (and himself) into a sea of conjecture as to the identity of that mysterious felon. Could Victor Gagarin have murdered his own mother with a poker and burned the evidence? Or did unlikely fashion-designer Alison Duck do the dastardly deed? Was it Guest the Butler, or Butler the Guest? Cook the Gardener, or Gardener the Cook?

A family posse of wannabe heroes are here to foil Abanazer's evil scheme! The innocent local lad, Aladdin, his brother, the cheeky Wishee Washee and their fearsome mother, washerwoman Widow Twankey are ready to intervene and save the day! Throw in a magic carpet, a mystical Slave of the Ring, a beautiful princess and an inept police officer and you have all the ingredients for a fantastic tale and great entertainment.
Blood Brothers
Following quicky on from Aladdin, TADS will be performing Willy Russell's famous play Blood Brothers on 1/2/8/9 July 2011
Blood Brothers is the funny, poignant, entertaining and dramatic story of twins separated at birth . . . one brought up by a comfortably situated, middle class (but childless) couple, and one by his divorced, natural mother, who struggles to make ends meet on benefits and the little she can earn from her cleaning job.
50th Anniversary Year
That's right, TADS reaches the ripe old age of 50, later this year. The productions for our 50th season have almost been decided upon. A quick glance at our website provides some of the details.
